In the last 24 hours a total of 12,876 tests have been performed. 4,329 of them are PCR and 8,547 are antigenic. This is shown by the data in the National Information System. 425,054 are the total currently confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. 8 296 of them are active. 398,545 people have already been cured, of which 9 have been registered in the last 24 hours.
The total number of patients with a proven coronavirus infection placed in hospital facilities is 805. 78 of them are in intensive care units or clinics.
2,028,136 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria so far, with 3,193 administered in the past 24 hours.
According to the National Information System, the new coronavirus was found in 13,476 medical staff in Bulgaria. A new case of a paramedic was registered during the past 24 hours.
The death toll in which coronavirus infection was confirmed was 18,213. Two new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. They died:
a 45-year-old man with heart disease;
a 71-year-old woman with heart disease and diabetes.
