Nearly 24% of those surveyed gave a positive result
For the last 24 hours in the country 4467 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified with 18 808 tests performed. Nearly 24% of those surveyed tested positive, according to data from the Unified Information Portal. The highest number of newly infected people is in the capital – 1289. The following districts: Plovdiv – 373, Varna – 281 and Stara Zagora with 239 cases.

Since the registration of the first case in our country a little over a year ago, a total of 307,890 infections have been identified. Of these, 58,671 are active cases. During the last 24 hours, 169 people died, bringing the total number to 12,188. 8,689 people are in hospital, of which 691 are in intensive care units. For the last 24 hours 2260 people have been cured, bringing the total number to 237 031.

To date, 1,969,186 tests have been performed. The vaccinated for the day are 7 465, and the total set doses from the beginning of the vaccination campaign are 376 370.
