3860 are the new cases of COVID-19 in our country for the last 24 hours with 19 210 PCR and rapid antigen tests. This means that just over 20% of the samples are positive. Thus, the total number of registered cases of coronavirus in the country is 356,859, of which 69,644 are active, according to data published on the Unified Information Portal.
Most new cases are in Sofia-city – 1029. Followed by the districts of Plovdiv – with 384 and Varna – with 251 newly infected.
The hospital accommodates 10,402 patients, of which 734 are in intensive care units.
In the last 24 hours, 2,996 people have overcome the disease, and a total of 273,429 have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic.
197 people have lost the battle with the virus in the last 24 hours, so the number of deaths since the beginning of the epidemic in our country is 13,786.
6479 doses of vaccine were administered during the last 24 hours and so their total number reached 510 049.
