Only the district of Varna is in the dark red zone in terms of the incidence of COVID-19 on a two-week basis. This is shown by the data of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.
The districts with the lowest morbidity on a two-week basis are Blagoevgrad and Kardzhali. In the yellow zone are Montana, Pernik, Kyustendil, Pazardzhik, Smolyan, Haskovo, Sliven, Gabrovo, Lovech and Razgrad. The other areas are in the red zone.
According to the map of the epidemic situation, divided into five regions and indicating the occupancy of hospital beds for intensive care of patients infected with COVID-19, four regions are in stage one. The region, covering the districts of Varna, Dobrich, Silistra, Razgrad, Targovishte and Shumen, is in stage two, and is expected to move to the lower one within days.
The incidence of COVID-19 in the country on a two-week basis is 323 per 100,000 population.
