A small plane traveling to Arizona crashed in the northern Mexican border state of Sonora. Six people were killed and one was injured in the accident, authorities said, quoted by the Associated Press.
The Cessna plane took off from the town of Hermosillo in Sonora for Tucson, Arizona. It crashed shortly after takeoff. Among those killed was a member of Sonora’s state administration for economic development. The pilot was one of the dead. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
