A bus carrying passengers from Kosovo hit a stopped truck carrying firewood on the Kyustendil ring road. The incident happened around 4.30 am on Tuesday morning, police said.
The driver of the truck stopped because a tree had fallen on the road. He tried to signal the danger to the other drivers, but failed to prevent the accident.
The driver of the bus traveling in the direction of Gueshevo was slightly injured. He was taken to the CSMP in Kyustendil.
29 of the passengers, including six children, were accommodated in a municipal building. Pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in the case, and a prosecutor on duty has been notified.
