According to the latest data, 15 people were injured in the explosion of household gas
Seven people have already been confirmed in the gas explosion, which partially destroyed a residential building in the Russian city of Noginsk, Moscow region, TASS reported, citing a source from the emergency services.
Earlier, two were reported, then four and five were killed. The bodies of two of the victims have not yet been removed from the rubble of the nine-story block. The search and rescue operation continues.
According to the latest data, 15 people were injured in the household gas explosion, including two children. Six people are hospitalized.
The explosion took place in an apartment on the third floor of the building. As a result of the explosion, part of the outer walls of the block and some mezzanine structures fell.
The incident happened at the home of a large family. The probable cause is a leak of gas left to burn at night to heat the home. More than 170 people were evacuated from the block.
The case is being investigated.
