An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale was recorded at 2:24 p.m. with an epicenter on the island of Evia, ANA-MPA reported. Its depth is 5 km. The tremor was also felt in the region of Attica, where the capital is Athens. Earlier today, another smaller earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale was recorded in the sea off the coast of Crete. It is felt in the eastern part of the island.
