Earthquake in Blagoevgrad region.

A slight earthquake was registered today at 00:47 Bulgarian time on the territory of one of the most seismic areas of the country – Blagoevgrad. The quake occurred 6km southeast of Simitli.According to the National Seismological Center of NIGGG, the earthquake has a magnitude of 2.9 and a depth of 4.2 km.

There was one more 2.1-magnitude earthquake in Dobrich that was recorded at 7:18 a.m. on Thursday morning.
There was also a slight tremor in the region of Dospat at 7:30 a.m. – 2,7 on the Richter scale.

An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale was registered on Friday in the Romanian seismic zone of Vrancea, BTA reports.
The quake was registered at 6:06 a.m. 71 km east of Brasov and 138 km north of Bucharest.
During this month, 15 earthquakes with a magnitude of 2 to 3.6 were registered in the region, and the strongest for the year was on May 26 with a magnitude of 4.7.
