Firefighters in Plovdiv were brought to a standstill by fires. Within the past 24 hours, teams have responded to 10 calls.One of the serious outbreaks was in the “Nachova chesma” area near Lesichovo. At around 4 p.m., two fire engines and a jeep were sent there. The flames were extinguished around 10 p.m. About 840 decares of dry grass and bushes were burned, nearly 100 decares of mixed forest were saved.
Firefighters from Belovo extinguished nearly 25 decares of dry grass in the land of Semchinovo village in September. As a result of their efforts, no expansion of the front was allowed.
