A serious accident occurred on the road Veliko Tarnovo – Ruse, in the area of Samovodene. A car and a public transport bus collided head-on. The driver of the car died on the spot. Eight people were traveling in the bus, they were not seriously injured, reported the press center of the Regional Police Directorate in Veliko Tarnovo. Cars are diverted along a detour through the village of Parvomaitsi, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Lyaskovets. Earlier today, due to a serious accident, the main road Sofia – Varna was temporarily closed, in the area of the junction for the Veliko Tarnovo village of Balvan. There, in an accident between two trucks and a car, one person also died, and the cars were diverted through the village of Samovodene, reports BTA.
