A magnitude 6.4 earthquake shook Argentina, according to the European Seismological Center.The quake struck 15 minutes before midnight local time. The epicenter is 40 km from the city of San Juan in the Andes and at a depth of 20 km.
No tsunami alert has been issued so far, BTA reported.
