Today, 11.05.2021, in the town of Belene was held a seminar in preparation for a municipal exercise to improve the interaction and coordination of the components of the Unified Rescue System and the executive authorities for disaster response "Belene 21". Partners in conducting the Municipal Exercise are: District Administration, Regional Directorate PBZN-Pleven and the Center for Research, Development and Improvement of NATO Capabilities for Crisis Management and Disaster Response. representatives of the General Directorate "Emergency Rescue" at the Directorate of Maritime Administration - Ruse, Directorate "National System 112" -Sofia, Regional Service "Military Police" -Pleven. Lecturers at the seminar were: Commissioner Stanislav Atanasov - Director of RDPBZN-Pleven, Marian Velichkov - Head of the group "Preventive activity and preventive control at RDPBZN-Pleven, Chief Assistant. Dr. Ekaterina Bogomilova - Department of National and Regional Security, Faculty of Economics of Infrastructure, University of National and World Economy, Colonel Georgiev - Head of the Land Forces Development Sector at the Land Forces Command, Eng. Stefan Dimitrov - Director of UOMPTCH Directorate in Svishtov Municipality. The presentations that were presented are the basis of good planning and response to natural disasters and incidents.
