A public transport bus in Plovdiv hit a woman on a footpath, BNT reported. The injured 68-year-old woman was rushed to hospital. The local university hospital confirmed that it was life-threatening. The accident happened at a central intersection at noon with bus line #18. According to the police, the bus driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs. One lane at the intersection of “Ruski” Blvd. and “Shesti Septemvi” Blvd. was closed. Traffic on the Gerdjika bridge, including public transport, is diverted along a detour route.
