A passenger plane crashed in China.

Possible engine damage is the possible cause of the crash of the passenger plane of China Eastern Airlines. This was reported by the Chinese newspaper “Huanqiu Shibao”.

Aviation expert and editor-in-chief of Aerospace Knowledge Wang Yanan said it was too early to draw definitive conclusions, as the black box readings had to be read.

“Judging by the information about the plane, we have no data on the conversations of the pilots with the controllers. “It is very likely that the plane was damaged in the engine at cruising altitude, as a result of which the pilots lost control of the plane,” he said.

“After that, the plane began to lose altitude quickly, which led to the crash. This is a very serious technical damage, “the expert added. “In order to talk about specific reasons, we need to study the data from the black boxes,” added Van Yanan.

The accident is the biggest plane crash in China in 12 years. In 2010, the Embraer-190 passenger aircraft, flying VD8387 from Harbin to Yichun, jumped over the runway in foggy conditions and crashed to the ground, splitting its fuselage in two and catching fire. A total of 96 people were on board, 44 of whom were killed and 52 injured.

China Eastern Airlines’ Boeing 737 with 132 passengers on board crashed in southern China. No casualties have been reported yet. This was announced by China National Television on Monday, quoted by TASS.
