The fire was extinguished in about an hour
Huge flames and smoke rose over the southern neighborhoods of Sofia. The fire engulfed the roof of a newly constructed building in Malinova Dolina quarter. The tall black pillar could be seen from different parts of the city.
The fire occurred during construction and assembly works. Four people worked on the site, three of them on the roof.
Three fire engines were sent to the scene of the accident. The fire was extinguished by the firefighters in about an hour. No one was injured or injured.
Whether and how some of the workers caused the fire has yet to be clarified.
