Tons of fallen rock mass closed the municipal road to the village of Sitovo in the municipality of Rodopi. A signal for the collapse was given at around 12 o’clock on telephone number 112, said the mayor of the village Dimitar Naskov.
The road to the village is impassable. Two cars are blocked. By order of the mayor of the municipality of “Rodopi” Pavel Mihailov, a team of the company was sent, which maintains the municipal road network to the high mountain villages during the winter months. Heavy machinery will be engaged in clearing the affected section of the road and transporting the fallen rock mass.
