Disaster near Sofia after a chase of migrants, a policeman is in danger for his life.
A serious accident occurred this morning on the Trakia highway to Sofia. There is an injured police officer who is in serious condition. He was admitted to St. Anna Hospital. He is currently undergoing emergency surgery, the hospital said. He has a severe brain injury. His life is in danger. Three injured migrants, as well as the driver of the van, were brought to “St. Anna”-Sofia. The accident happened shortly after 7 a.m. after a chase with police chasing a car with migrants. A dozen illegal migrants were found in it. Several more police cars, fire crews and an ambulance are on the scene.
