Six people were killed in a 5.6-magnitude earthquake that shook western Nepal in the early hours of the day and sent tremors as far away as New Delhi, authorities said.According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter was near the Nepalese municipality of Dipayal, 340 km away. west of Kathmandu and was at a depth of 15 km.
Six people died in the western district of Doti, including three members of the same family, local police chief Rajendra Dhamala said.
