4.1 earthquake off the Greek island of Crete
Athens, 01/03/2023 09:46 (BTA) A weak earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale was registered last night in the sea off the island of Crete, southern Greece, reported ANA-MPA. The epicenter of the earthquake was 37 km north-northeast of the village of Neapoli in Lasithi prefecture at a depth of 23 km. In the same area yesterday morning there was another earthquake of the same magnitude. Also yesterday, an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was also recorded off the Peloponnese peninsula. There are no reports of damage from the earthquakes.
