An earthquake has rocked Indonesia’s main island of Java, killing at least 56 people and damaging dozens of buildings. Many residents ran into the streets to protect themselves. The US Geological Survey reported that the quake had a magnitude of 5.6 in West Java and a depth of 10 km. It happened at 13:21 local time. Kilometers from Java – on the island of Bali, the G-20 summit, hosted by Indonesia, ended a few days ago.
