Massive flooding in Virginia, dozens missing.

The authorities declared a state of emergency
Emergency officials are conducting a search operation after flooding in Buchanan County, Virginia.

At least 44 people are missing, but no deaths have been reported at this time, CNN reported, citing police.

According to law enforcement officials, the flooding was caused by heavy rains that began on Tuesday.

Shortly after the heavy rain began, some roads in the county were blocked and communication lines were cut.

The state governor has reportedly declared a state of emergency to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
