the day the precipitation will be mostly rain. The wind will be light, in the Danube plain and Eastern Bulgaria to moderate wind from east-northeast. The minimum temperatures will be from minus 1 ° to 4 °; the maximum will be from 0 ° -2 ° in the northwestern regions to 6 ° -7 ° in the extreme south. In the mountains it will be cloudy, foggy, with rain, over about 1300-1400 meters - from snow. In some places the precipitation will be significant and new snow cover will accumulate. On the highest massifs in Western Bulgaria, where a strong to strong westerly wind will blow, there will be blizzards and gusts; in the rest 
mountains the wind will be mostly moderate with a southern component. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 4 ° -5 °, at 2000 meters - 0 ° -1 °. It will be cloudy along the Black Sea coast, with rain showers. On the North Black Sea coast, where temperatures will be lower, it is possible for rain to mix with snow mainly at night and in the morning. A moderate northeast wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be 6 ° -8 °. The temperature of the sea water is 9 ° -10 °. The sea wave will be 3-4 points.

Significant increases in river levels are expected in the period 10 -11.01.2021 in the catchments of the rivers Iskar, Osam, Vit, Yantra, Rusenski Lom and the Danube Dobrudzha rivers.

As a result of intense rainfall there is a danger of torrential floods as follows: in the afternoon and evening on 10.01.2021, at night against 11.01.2021. and on 11.01.2021 in the upper parts of the catchment area of ​​the Iskar River (up to the town of Svoge inclusive) - along the main river and in the catchments of the rivers Blato, Lesnovska, Makotsevska, Vladayska, Perlovska, Slatinska, Suhodolska, Vitoshka Bistritsa, Egulya, Cherni Iskar, Urdina, Lakatitsa, Pryaka; in the middle parts of the catchment area of ​​the Yantra River (in the catchment area of ​​the Rositsa River) and in the catchment area of ​​Suha Reka

     The model for the catchment of the Yantra River: The forecasted water quantities on 09, 10 and 11.01.2021 will be above the average annual values. Today (08.01) and in the next two days, as a result of precipitation, the river levels in the whole catchment will increase. On January 11, 2021, the rivers will flow away. Water quantities will be below the attention thresholds.
      The model for the catchment area of ​​the Rusenski Lom River: The projected water quantity in the catchment area of ​​the Cherni Lom River on 09, 10, 11, 12 and 13.01.2021 will be below the average annual value. Today (08.01) and in the next 5 days, as a result of precipitation, the river levels in the catchment will increase insignificantly. The water quantity will be below the attention threshold. Black Sea Basin: Today (09.01) and in the next 3 days the levels of the observed rivers in the basin will increase as a result of precipitation. The increases of the river levels in the period 11-12.01.2021 will be significant. in the catchments of the rivers between the town of Balchik and the Burgas Bay, incl.
East Aegean Basin: Today (09.01) and in the next 3 days the levels of the observed rivers will increase as a result of precipitation. In the period 10-12.01.2021. increases in river levels throughout the basin will be significant. West Aegean Basin: Today (09.01) and in the next 3 days the levels of the observed rivers in the basin will increase as a result of precipitation. In the period 10-12.01.2021 the increases of the river levels in the catchment area of ​​the river Struma and in the lower parts of the catchment area of ​​the river Mesta will be significant.
As a result of intense rainfall there is a danger of torrential floods as follows: On 10.01.2021 and at night against 11.01.2021 in the catchments of the rivers Struma, Mesta (on the main river below the village of Ognyanovo and in the catchment area of ​​the river Mutnitsa), Petrovska.
